Description
Key Responsibilities Technical & Mechanical Tasks
- Rebuild engines ranging from B3.3 to QSK78 , including both mechanical and electronic systems.
- Rebuild sub-assemblies such as liner-piston , oil cooler , aftercooler , and oil pan .
- Inspect components for wear, damage, and usability before assembly.
- Perform dry leak testing on engines and components.
- Maintain 5S standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.Comply with all HSE standards, policies, and procedures.Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Participate in HSE training and promote a safety-first culture.Identify and correct hazards within control and capability.Quality & Delivery
Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.Perform supervised work using diagrams, manuals, and specifications.Conduct quality inspections and provide feedback for preventive maintenance.Follow all process documentation and quality procedures.Track and record data related to component performance and rebuilds.Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
Communicate effectively with peers and support teams.Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.Assist with preventive, emergency, and corrective maintenance activities.Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.Responsibilities
Qualifications
Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering ORITI / NCTVT certification with 5+ years of relevant experience in engine rebuilding or maintenance.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Core Competencies
