Job descriptionDefine APIs and service layers required for integration with front-end apps, OMS / RMS, depositories, payment gateways, and 3rd-party service providers. Prepare BRDs, FRDs, interface contracts, and API specifications. Map end-to-end data flows across asset classes, segments, and system integrations. Maintain updated requirement traceability and version control. Liaise between product, development, QA, and external vendors for middleware-related requirements. Conduct walkthroughs, clarifications, and requirement sign-off sessions. o Ensure timely delivery of requirements into sprint cycles. Support SIT / UAT by preparing middleware-specific test scenarios and validating API responses. Ensure middleware align with performance, scalability, and compliance needs. Strong understanding of trading & investment platforms, middleware architecture, APIs, and system integrations. Knowledge of trading lifecycle – order placement, margining, risk checks, settlements, reconciliations. Familiarity with multiple asset classes (Equity, F&O, Currency, Commodities, MF, Debt, PMS / AIF). Experience in preparing BRDs / FRDs, API documentation, UML / BPMN workflows. Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, Swagger / Postman, MS Visio / Lucidchart. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.

The role involves capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements related to trading workflows, asset class coverage, and segment-specific features, while ensuring smooth integration between front-end applications & middleware services.

Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Work with other product managers, operations, and technology teams to capture middleware requirements for trading and investment features.
- Analyze business needs across equities, derivatives, commodities, currencies, mutual funds, bonds, ETFs, PMS / AIF, insurance, structured products, and other asset classes.
