About Wishlink Wishlink is a well-funded, early-stage startup, on a mission to shape the creator economy and change how people shop. We started Wishlink in January 2022 when we discovered products on social media that we wanted to buy but could not (in some cases, actually did)! We are based out of Gurugram. What are we looking for?
Overview :
As a Key Account Manager specializing in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients / brands. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients.
Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for client communication.
Account Growth Strategy :
Develop and implement strategies to maximize account growth.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the execution of growth strategies.
Problem Resolution :
Address client concerns and proactively find solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Analytics and Reporting :
Track and analyze key performance metrics related to client accounts.
Provide regular reports to clients on the performance of their accounts.
Use data insights to make informed recommendations for improvement.
Industry Knowledge :
Stay updated on e-commerce and D2C industry trends.
Provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations based on industry developments.
Contribute to the development of products or services in line with industry advancements.
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the e-commerce or D2C sector (mandatory)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and industry trends.
Ability to think on feet, street smart
Should be comfortable with data — ability to draw insights, track performance, and build data-backed strategies
What would you be doing? Strong ability to work independently, build processes that scale
Identify brands suited for partnerships (by category); create strategy and roadmap for brand integrations
Create and evolve brand-side pitch decks
Work closely with multiple brands on a daily basis to improve value proposition
Identify brand side pain points to identify new features / offerings; create strategies on how we can enter into deeper integrations with brands
Be on point to develop and farm relationships with key heads at multiple brands
Execute brand-side levers end-to-end to drive performance and retention
Understand how to maximize creator earnings through brand partnerships and coordinate with the creator team for seamless execution
