Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a WordPress and Shopify Developer located in Pune. The Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function. Tasks include both back-end and front-end development, ensuring responsive web design, and working closely with the design team to implement web design elements and create seamless user experiences.

Role

Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, WooCommerce) and Shopify storefronts (Online Store 2.0, Liquid, custom apps).

Integrate APIs, payment gateways, third-party apps, and back-end systems.

Optimise for performance, security, and SEO—delivering Core Web Vitals compliance.

Implement responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect UI / UX using HTML5, CSS / SCSS, and JavaScript / TypeScript.

Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to translate requirements into technical builds.

Maintain documentation, provide technical handovers, and ensure long-term stability of projects.

Requirements

Advanced skills in PHP, MySQL, Liquid, JavaScript / TypeScript.

Deep knowledge of Shopify and Wordpress latest extensibility features.

Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and implement caching, CDN, and optimisation strategies.

Strong understanding of web security best practices.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
