Role : Varicent Support Engineer
1 year contract
100% Remote
We are seeking an experienced Varicent Support Engineer to provide technical and functional support for Varicent’s Sales Performance Management (SPM) platform. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Varicent configuration and troubleshooting, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
5–7 years of hands-on experience with Varicent technology
Provide day-to-day support for Varicent applications, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance monitoring
Configure and maintain Varicent modules (Compensation, Quotas, Territories)
Manage data integrations between Varicent and CRM / ERP systems
Perform system health checks, audits, and ensure compliance with governance standards
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues
Document processes, maintain knowledge base, and provide user training as needed
Required Skills
Varicent experience : configuration, administration, and support
Strong SQL and relational database skills
Familiarity with APIs, REST integrations, and data ETL processes
Understanding of incentive compensation plans and workflows
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Nice-to-Have
Experience with SPM best practices and plan modeling
Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SSO / SAML)
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS) and Linux
