Job Overview

The AutoCAD Draughtsman for Interior Design will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on architectural and interior design concepts. This role requires precision, technical drawing expertise, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate and comprehensive 2D / 3D drawings for execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and draft detailed 2D drawings and 3D layouts using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Prepare working drawings, presentation layouts, and as-built drawings for interior projects.
• Interpret architectural and design specifications, sketches, and technical details.
• Coordinate with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and design intent.
• Maintain drawing documentation and version control for all design projects.
• Update technical drawings based on site conditions and field measurements.
• Assist in material specifications, shop drawings, and joinery layouts for interior works.
• Ensure drawings comply with standards, codes, and project requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
