Radiologist

Key duties :

• Interpret medical images :  Analyze and interpret diagnostic images like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to identify abnormalities.
• Write reports :  Compile detailed reports of their findings, interpretations, and diagnoses.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals :  Collaborate with other doctors to discuss imaging results and help determine the best course of treatment for patients.
• Perform image-guided procedures :  In some cases, perform interventional procedures such as image-guided biopsies or minimally invasive surgeries.
• Ensure patient safety :  Follow medical protocols for radiation safety and respond to emergencies when necessary.
