Position Overview
The Reservation & Assistant Revenue Manager is a full-time on-site role responsible for managing reservations operations while supporting revenue management functions. The role involves overseeing the reservations department, optimizing room allocation, improving booking conversions, analyzing demand patterns, and assisting in revenue strategies. Coordination with revenue, sales, and distribution teams is essential to maximize occupancy and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the reservations department.
- Oversee room allocation, rate loading, and inventory management.
- Ensure accuracy of booking details and reservation records.
- Analyze demand trends and assist in forecasting.
- Improve booking conversions through effective communication and sales techniques.
- Train and guide the reservations team.
- Manage VIP, group, and corporate bookings.
- Resolve customer concerns and maintain high service standards.
- Support revenue teams in implementing pricing and distribution strategies.
- Monitor booking pace, pickup trends, and channel performance.
- Assist in budgeting, reporting, and communication related to revenue initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize revenue and profitability across all channels.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.Prior experience in a senior reservations or assistant revenue role.Strong understanding of reservation systems and hotel operations.Knowledge of revenue management principles and market trends.Proficiency in PMS / CRS and related hospitality systems.Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
