Role Definition

The BIQ & Document controller is responsible for managing organising and maintaining all controlled documents and records related to projects quality management and operations.

Responsibilities

• The candidate should possess a minimum of 6-8 years of Oil & Gas industry experience in Built-In-Quality Document Control of engineering / design execution and associated activities.
• Checklist management Create update and maintain BIQ checklists. Share check item numbers with design engineers and ensure proper documentation.
• Complete understanding of Engineering specification documents and fabrication guidance notes.
• Control issuance of document numbers revisions and formatting according to project standards.
• Maintain updated records of all quality related documentation and ensure easy traceability.
• Maintain all the Vendor Documents from requisition stage to till Approval from the different Vendors update maintain records of all required documents and ensure easy traceability.
• Manage document revisions and maintain a comprehensive record of all project related documents.
• Support mangers and engineers by ensuring timely document submissions and approvals.
• Co-ordinate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure documents align with ISO or other quality management systems.

Level Basic Understanding :

Explains where to locate basic help facilities and troubleshooting guides.

Discusses basic concepts behind a systematic approach to solving technical problems.

Describes problem identification reporting and escalation procedures.

Candidate should Well Versed with Oil and gas EPC projects with exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
