Our client is currently seeking a Promo Editor to join their team. As a Promo Editor you will be responsible for creating editing and refining promotional content including commercials trailers and advertisements. You will collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure the final product aligns with the clients vision engaging the target audience through effective storytelling sound and visuals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the creative department to conceptualize and execute promotional content.
- Ensure timely delivery of all projects without compromising quality.
- Conduct thorough research to understand target audience preferences and trends.
- Oversee and guide junior editors to maintain consistency and quality in the work.
- Handle pre-visualization of promo concepts and assist in the creative development process.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in motion graphics design and media consumption to keep content relevant and engaging.
- Explore and experiment with AI-powered editing and visual enhancement tools to improve efficiency and creativity.
- Manage time workflow and project backups effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or diploma in Film Editing Multimedia or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience editing for digital campaigns and social media.Proven understanding of YouTube Reels and short-form storytelling strategies.Strong grip on pacing rhythm and narrative tension to maximize viewer retention.Excellent creative problem-solving and collaborative mindset.Strong writing skills and must be able to draft captions titles or narrative prompts when needed.Confident in presenting ideas and creative justifications during review sessions.Experience working on international campaigns or multilingual content is a plus.Language Proficiency : English (Required) Hindi (Required) Tamil & Telugu is plus point.
Communication Skills :
Must possess excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication abilities for both the languages.Able to collaborate seamlessly with internal creative marketing and content teams.Confident in communicating with clients in India and team mates explaining creative logic storytelling flow and edit rationale.Should be comfortable in client-facing meetings online review calls and feedback discussions.Tools & Technical Proficiency :
Adobe Premiere Pro (primary editing platform).Sound design and mixing (Adobe Audition or equivalent).Great if you know After Effects (for transitions motion graphics and animation layering).Great if you Photoshop / Illustrator (for frame composition overlays and thumbnails).Familiarity or curiosity to explore AI-based creative tools such as RunwayML Pika Labs Descript Midjourney or similar others.
