Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Visit doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare professionals regularly to promote and sell pharmaceutical products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare providers and decision-makers.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by management.
  • Provide product information, demonstrations, and answer queries to healthcare professionals.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor information to support marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and product teams for promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities, customer visits, and reports using CRM tools.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and product launches.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines in pharmaceutical sales.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
  • Diploma in Medical or Pharmaceutical Sales is an advantage.
  • Prior experience (1-3 years) in pharmaceutical field sales preferred but freshers with relevant educational background can also apply.
  • Skills and Competencies :

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to build lasting professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven with a proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, healthcare industry, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and CRM software.
