Role Description : The Senior Sales Officer will be responsible for channel sales and sales operations in Chennai. The role entails managing and growing sales channels, ensuring smooth sales operations, and fostering dealer relationships.

Responsibilities :

  • Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with the dealers.
  • Expanding the dealer network by explaining the company products and encouraging purchases.
  • Answering dealer's questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company products.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer & dealer appointments, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
  • Informing product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs.
  • Analysing competitors' products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.

Requirements :

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 to 6 years experience in field sales.
  • Proven sales experience and achieving sales targets.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Preferred industry : sleep products such as mattress segments, furniture, furnishings, or any other consumer durables.
  • Salary - Best in the industry
