Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our Up and coming pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The HR Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in HR best practices and have a strong background in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Recruitment & Onboarding :
- Oversee the recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.
- Develop strategies for talent acquisition and retention that align with business goals.
- Employee Relations :
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manage employee disciplinary actions in line with company policies and legal regulations.
- Performance Management :
- Implement and manage performance evaluation systems.
- Work closely with department heads to set employee objectives and ensure continuous development.
- Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to improve employee performance and career development.
- Compliance & Policy Implementation :
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment standards, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Oversee health and safety initiatives in the workplace, ensuring a safe environment for all employees.
- Training & Development :
- Identify employee training needs and develop learning programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Implement development plans to ensure employees are continuously learning and advancing their careers.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and other training programs on HR-related topics.
- Compensation & Benefits :
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and other compensation-related activities.
- Benchmark industry practices to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- HR Analytics & Reporting :
- Utilize HR software to maintain employee records, track key HR metrics, and generate reports.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Culture & Engagement :
- Promote and maintain a positive workplace culture aligned with the company’s core values.
- Organize employee engagement activities and wellness programs to boost morale and productivity.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership in fostering a strong company culture and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.3+ years of experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations specific to India.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in HR software (HRMS, ATS, payroll systems).Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and handle complex situations in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar regulated industries.Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).Salary :
