About the Role

As part of the global operations team working from within the EU, the role will be reporting into the DBA team leader. It will require interaction with various support teams within Managed Services such as OS, Storage and Virtualization team as well as non-technical teams such as Service Desk, Change Management and the Project Management Office. The role has no direct reports.

Responsibilities

• To support and maintain Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL database instances
• To provide DBA Support to project, development and infrastructure teams
• To ensure that all SLA’s are maintained
• Respond to all Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL related incidents
• Assist the team with proactive improvements to internal processes
• Mentoring and coaching other members of the team
• To participate in the change control process
• To participate in the team’s out-of-hours on-call support
