Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Architect to design, implement, and oversee end-to-end DevOps strategies across our enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure automation, CI / CD pipeline design, cloud architecture, and DevSecOps enablement. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with a strategic mindset to drive scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across development and production systems.

Required Skills and Experience

10+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.

• Strong Unix / Linux administration experience;

Windows Server exposurea plus.

Proven expertise with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and IaC platforms (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Azure or GCP is a plus).

Proficiency in scripting and automation (Shell, Python, or Groovy).

Experience designing and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).

Strong understanding of networking, security controls, and system architecture.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects and drive architectural decisions under pressure.

Experience with database systems (MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and integration with automated pipelines.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable , secure, and highly available DevOps solutions across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS preferred).

Define and enforce DevOps standards, automation frameworks, and best practices for CI / CD, configuration management, monitoring, and deployment.

Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) frameworks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Lead the automation of build, test, and deployment pipelines leveraging Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar CI / CD platforms.

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to optimize software delivery pipelines and infrastructure reliability.

Provide technical leadership on cloud adoption, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration strategies.

Oversee monitoring and observability architecture, ensuring proactive incident detection and resolution.

Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance system scalability, performance, and security posture.

Guide and mentor DevOps engineers, establishing governance models, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance and security best practices are integrated into all automation workflows (DevSecOps approach).

Participate in on-call escalation as part of leadership support rotation when necessary.
