Required Skill Set

• Aerospace Knowledge

Working knowledge of gas turbine engine components and systems and particularly Trent engines

Proficient in root cause analysis (RCA), fault tree analysis (FTA), Fishbone diagrams, 5 Why’s and other problem-solving tools.

Interpret inspection findings (including NDT and teardown reports) to understand failure mechanisms (e.g., fatigue, corrosion, wear, thermal stress). Familiar with failure mode documentation (FMECA and fault Trees).

Experience with CAD tools (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks), analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB), and data analysis platforms (Python, Excel, Power BI).

Familiar with airworthiness requirements and safety regulations (FAA, EASA, ICAO, etc.), and Continued Airworthiness Management (CAMO) principles.
