Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as commissioning lead for high complex projects. Each day, you will ensure completion of all commissioning activities effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical solutions to meet current and emerging business and customer requirements.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Perform on-site robot debugging including system commissioning, functional programming, process tuning, and issue resolution for ABB and Kawasaki robots.
• Manage project execution from start to final acceptance (FAC), ensuring achievement of process parameters, body quality, and cycle time targets for BIW lines.
• Conduct troubleshooting of hardware issues, vision system measurement and maintenance, and independently execute robot simulations for new model introductions.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings apply knowledge of mechanical principles, electrical components, and circuit diagrams during integration and debugging.
• Coordinate supplier resources (robot programmers) to meet line buy-off KPIs and ensure smooth execution across welding, sealant, hemming, and material handling processes.
