Main Responsibilities
- Administer the SharePoint Online environment, including user management, permissions configuration, and site collection administration.
- Design, develop, and implement SharePoint Online solutions based on business requirements.
- Customize and configure SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and forms to support business processes and improve collaboration.
- Manage content within SharePoint sites, ensuring proper organization, versioning, and security of document libraries, lists, and metadata.
- Configure and manage SharePoint workflows to automate business processes and streamline workflow approvals.
- Optimize SharePoint search settings to ensure efficient and accurate search results for users.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end-users related to SharePoint functionality, permissions, and access.
- Implement governance policies and compliance standards to ensure data security and regulatory compliance within the SharePoint Online environment.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SharePoint Online with other systems and tools, such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
- Maintain detailed documentation of SharePoint configurations, workflows, and best practices for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest SharePoint Online features, updates, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and productivity.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in administering and managing SharePoint Online environments.Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online customization, including sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and forms.Proficiency in configuring SharePoint search settings and optimizing search results.Experience with SharePoint Online integration with Microsoft 365 services such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve SharePoint-related issues effectively.Strong understanding of SharePoint governance policies and compliance standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide training and support to end-users.Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance.Experience with maintaining documentation of SharePoint configurations and best practices.Knowledge of the latest SharePoint Online features and best practices.Preferred Qualifications
SharePoint certifications or relevant Microsoft 365 certifications.Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint Online administration.Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for custom development.Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Azure, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) offerings.Strong understanding of Azure services and technologies, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps.Proficiency in cloud architecture frameworks, such as Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Azure Well-Architected Framework.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Skills Required
