Full Stack Engineer - AI Platform

Blink is an AI app creation platform. Anyone can build websites, SaaS products, and mobile apps by chatting with AI. We handle the database, hosting, APIs, and deployment automatically. No coding required.

The Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll build the features that power Blink's platform. You'll work across the entire stack, from frontend interfaces to backend systems, creating tools that help people build software through conversation with AI.

You'll also provide technical support to users, helping them solve problems and succeed with their projects. Your work will directly shape the product and the experience of thousands of builders.

In this role, you will :

Build and ship full-stack features that make AI-powered app development faster and more powerful

Work with TypeScript, Next.js, and modern web technologies to create seamless user experiences

Develop and refine AI agents and prompting systems that understand what users want to build

Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting issues and helping them succeed with their applications

Collaborate directly with the founder to shape product direction and prioritize what to build next

Write clean, maintainable code that handles complex workflows while keeping the platform simple for users

You might thrive in this role if you :

You have strong experience building full-stack web applications and shipping products to users

You're fluent in TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL, and comfortable working across the entire stack

You have experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks and modern frontend technologies like Tailwind CSS

You understand prompt engineering and know how to build reliable systems with AI agents

You enjoy solving technical problems and helping users get unstuck when they need support

You move fast and can balance building new features with maintaining existing systems

You care about craft and take pride in writing code that others can understand and build on

You find the intersection of AI and software development genuinely exciting and want to shape how it evolves

Compensation

Compensation includes salary plus equity in a Y Combinator-backed startup.

Interview Process

We'll start with an initial conversation to learn about your background and experience. Then you'll complete a technical project that lets you demonstrate your skills. We move quickly and aim to make decisions within a week.
