The International Solar Alliance (ISA) is an intergovernmental organization of 125 Member Countries working to accelerate the deployment of solar energy to achieve universal energy access, energy security, and a sustainable, low-carbon future. Co-founded by India and France under the Paris Agreement, ISA serves as a platform for cooperation among solar rich nations to mobilize investments, build capacity, and promote innovation in solar energy deployment across the Global South. Its mission is to unlock solar investments by 2030, while reducing technology and financing costs. Through initiatives across agriculture, health, transport, and power generation, ISA Member Countries are driving change by shaping policies, sharing best practices, setting standards, and mobilizing investments.
Your New Role :
The Member and Partner Outreach Analyst will serve as a critical interface between ISA and its Member States and Partners. The position is focused on facilitating smooth communication, information sharing, and alignment of initiatives, ensuring that ISA’s offerings and engagements remain responsive to stakeholder needs. The Member and Partner Outreach Analyst will support the planning, coordination, and execution of all governance-related activities, member and partner outreach, and diplomatic engagements.
Your Broader Scope of Work (including but not limited to) :
- Act as focal point for communication with Member States and institutional partners of ISA, ensuring timely responses and follow-up on queries, inputs, and requests for information. This also extends to prospective Member Countries of ISA and prospective Partners.
- Support in preparation of workplans and implementation of joint initiatives under these workplans with partners and Member Countries of ISA.
- Monitor and track engagement milestones, commitments, and country-specific follow-ups.
- Prepare briefs, updates, and reports on ISA’s engagement with Member Countries and Partners of ISA for internal and external use.
- Maintain institutional memory and documentation on ISA’s engagements with its Member Countries and Partners, including the Governance Body Meetings of ISA.
- Assist in organization of ISA’s Governance Body Meetings through mobilization of participation from Member Countries and Partners through effective communication across channels and maintain records of participation.
- Collaborate with communications and program teams to streamline partner-related messaging and visibility.
- Develop and maintain a stakeholder database and engagement dashboard.
What You Will Need to Succeed Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Development Studies, International Cooperation, Renewable Energy or related field. Master’s degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in liaison roles, partnership coordination, or external affairs within an international or development organization. For candidates with a Masters’ degree or a Doctorate, the experience criteria shall be relaxed by 2 years.Required Experience :
Experience of working with intergovernmental multilateral organizations, diplomatic missions, and climate / energy-related frameworks shall be advantageous.Experience of organizing high-level events or governance fora shall be advantageous.Languages and Skills :
Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and diplomatic communication skills.Excellent writing, communication, and intercultural skills.Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency is a plus.Your Place of Work :
This position will be based at the ISA Headquarters, Delhi / Gurgaon, India, with international travel as required.
