Role Description

We are seeking a passionate Primary Montessori Adult (Teacher) for a full-time, on-site position at our Chennai campus. You will guide and nurture children's development in alignment with Montessori principles. Responsibilities include :

  • Preparing and maintaining the classroom learning environment
  • Presenting Montessori materials and lessons
  • Observing and assessing children's growth and learning
  • Collaborating with fellow teachers and engaging with parents
  • Fostering each child's love of learning and supporting their social, emotional, and academic development

Qualifications

  • AMI Primary Montessori Diploma completed, or currently enrolled in the AMI Primary Montessori Diploma program
  • In rare cases, candidates committed to joining the Chennai school and pursuing the AMI Primary Montessori Diploma concurrently may be considered
  • Strong ability to create and maintain an engaging, safe classroom
  • Skills in observing and assessing child development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (parents, team, and children)
  • Passion for early childhood education, valuing inclusivity and diversity
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is a plus
  • Experience working with children aged 2 to 6 preferred
