TO THE NEW is hiring Azure Technical Architect for a renowned US Bank.

The ideal candidate would be a problem-solver with a strong background in continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure as code. They would play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud solutions, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and security of our systems. Major Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assess and optimize ABC Bank’s Cloud footprint for security, compliance, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Design, implement, and manage Azure Landing Zones, subscription strategies, tenant governance, and networking architectures.
- Drive On-prem to Cloud migrations, minimizing technical debt and ensuring scalability.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure CLI, and CI / CD pipelines.
- Configure and manage IAM, policies, RBAC, and security controls aligned with Azure security best practices.
- Architect and manage Azure networking (VNets, peering, ExpressRoute, VPN, private connectivity with Datacenter, 3rd parties, and multi-cloud providers).
- Monitor infrastructure, generate utilization / cost reports, and lead cost optimization initiatives.
- Support Disaster Recovery, ensure operational readiness, and provide billing / administrative support.
- Produce and maintain architectural designs, documentation, and standards.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available solutions using VM Scale Sets, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, and CDN.
- Stay updated on cloud innovations, promote DevOps practices, and mentor team members.
- Provide after-hours support for deployments, outages, and emergency situations.
Qualifications & Experience :
7-14 years of relevant work experience in Azure Cloud.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent industry experience.Microsoft Azure Architect certifications preferred; Linux / Windows certifications a plus.Strong expertise in Azure networking (VNets, Peering, ExpressRoute, VPNs, private connectivity with Datacenter, 3rd parties, and multi-cloud providers).Hands-on experience with scalable architectures – Azure VM Scale Sets, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, Traffic Manager, and CDN.In-depth knowledge of Azure security best practices – IAM, RBAC, Conditional Access, Key Vault, Managed Identities, Security Center, Defender for Cloud, encryption, and compliance frameworks (CIS / NIST).Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python), and CI / CD pipelines.Experience in On-prem to Cloud migrations, TCO analysis, DR strategy, and high-availability architectures.Experience with serverless technologies (Azure Functions), monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, CloudTrail), and automation pipelines.Solid understanding of Linux / Windows administration, system hardening, and image management (golden images).Familiarity with multi-cloud and SaaS integrations (Salesforce, Tableau, Informatica, on-prem DBs to Azure services like Blob, SQL, Redshift, etc.).
