We are looking for an experienced Linux / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a freelance / contract basis. This role involves working across Linux / Windows administration, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), security compliance, and automation. You'll be contributing to high-impact security and DevOps initiatives while supporting operations in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, patch, and secure Linux (primarily Red Hat) and Windows systems.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 , customer-specific baselines, and CIS benchmarks .
• Manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including networking, compute, and storage.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance using Terraform and Ansible .
• Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines for customer self-service deployments.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities across OS and applications.
• Support operational work beyond core Linux / OCI functions (flexibility required).
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams on design, architecture, and security initiatives.
• Develop scripts and automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Document compliance checks, operational procedures, and automation workflows.
