Job description

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate – Research and Advising to join our admissions consulting team. This role is designed for individuals passionate about higher education, particularly US college admissions, and eager to support high-achieving students in their journey to top-tier universities. The Associate will play a critical role in researching admissions trends, building student profiles, and providing structured guidance under the supervision of senior consultants.

Advising Support

  • Support students through the end-to-end US college admissions process, including profile building, activity selection, essay brainstorming, and interview preparation .
  • Conduct mock interviews, essay reviews, and feedback sessions , ensuring high-quality, actionable guidance aligned with Ivy League admissions standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with students and parents, providing timely updates and progress tracking.

Research & Knowledge Development

  • Conduct in-depth research on admissions trends, institutional requirements, program updates, and competitive applicant profiles for Ivy League and other selective US universities.
  • Prepare college lists, comparison reports, and data-driven recommendations tailored to student interests and strengths.
  • Track and synthesise information on summer programs, competitions, scholarships, and extracurricular opportunities that strengthen a student's profile.

    • Operational Excellence

  • Document and update student advising roadmaps within the internal platform, ensuring alignment with firm-wide standards.
  • Collaborate with the content and research teams to build knowledge libraries, essay templates, and advising frameworks .
  • Provide inputs for advisor training, internal workshops, and best-practice guidelines.
