You’ll play a key role in strengthening our infrastructure reliability, database performance, and disaster recovery capabilities as we continue scaling our secure, cloud-native platform.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps & Database Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and recoverability of Hyly.AI’s databases and infrastructure.

You’ll combine DevOps excellence with deep database administration skills—building and validating backup pipelines, managing database migrations, performing recovery drills, and embedding ISO 27001 : 2022-aligned security controls for data protection.

What You’ll Do

• Design, automate, and test backup and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale databases and production systems
• Manage and optimize MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Execute database version upgrades, schema migrations, and data integrity validations with minimal downtime
• Implement ISO 27001 : 2022-aligned data protection controls including encryption, masking, and retention policies
• Establish and automate RTO / RPO validation and recovery testing in collaboration with DevSecOps and Compliance teams
• Build automation for backup validation and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native pipelines
• Integrate data leakage prevention (DLP) and access control mechanisms into backup and replication flows
• Maintain detailed architecture, DR documentation, and recovery runbooks for audit and operational readiness
• Partner with Engineering and Security teams to ensure resilient infrastructure aligned with ISO, SOC 2
• Continuously optimize storage costs while maintaining reliability and compliance standards
