Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Mitel PBX Engineer to provide exceptional support for our telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Mitel PBX systems (MiVoice Business, Mitel PBX 3300, Mitel Border Gateway, Micollab server) and will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining our PBX environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide remote technical support for PBX systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to voice quality, call routing, and system performance.

Assist clients with system upgrades, patches, and feature enhancements.

Collaborate with team members to develop best practices and improve service delivery.

Document support processes and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.

Train and guide end-users on system functionalities and features.

Monitor system health and performance, implementing proactive measures as needed.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PBX technology.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a Mitel PBX Engineer or similar role.

Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP protocols, and telephony systems.

Proficiency in troubleshooting network and telecommunication issues.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Mitel Certified Solutions Expert) are required.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with other PBX systems is a plus.

Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.

Knowledge of telecom regulations and compliance standards.
