AMR & Energy Audit Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for managing AMR operations and conducting energy audits at the distribution level to ensure accurate metering, loss reduction, and reliable data flow through HES/MDMS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AMR operations, including meter data acquisition, validation, and issue resolution.

• Work with HES and MDMS for monitoring meter performance and data integrity.

• Conduct energy audits at feeder, DT, and consumer levels to identify losses and inefficiencies.

• Perform meter data, consumption, and tamper analysis to detect abnormalities and revenue leakage.

• Monitor and troubleshoot communication networks (GPRS, GSM, NB-IoT, RF).

• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and telecom partners for AMR-related issues.

• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and audit insights for management and regulatory reviews.

• Support SAIFI/SAIDI analysis, compliance requirements, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering

• 4–6 years of experience in AMR, smart metering, or energy audit roles

• Communication Technologies: GPRS, GSM, NB-IoT
