Industrial Design Intern

We are seeking an Industrial Designer Intern to shape the physical identity of our autonomous construction robots. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, aesthetics, and usability — translating complex hardware systems into beautifully functional, durable, and serviceable machines.

Your work will define how our robots look, feel, and operate on the job site — ensuring that form, material, and ergonomics reflect the intelligence and reliability of what we're building. These are broad responsibilities :

• Lead industrial design development for next-generation robotic systems, from early sketches to production-ready surfaces.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are both visually refined and mechanically feasible.
• Develop modular enclosure systems and accessibility features (easy tool swaps, maintenance access, component protection).
• Design for durability, repairability, and manufacturability using practical materials and industrial processes.
• Own the visual design language of 10x robots — proportions, textures, color palettes, finishes, and branding placement.
• Create high-quality renders, mockups, and physical prototypes for design reviews and investor / demo presentations.
• Work closely with the marketing and motion teams to ensure visual coherence between physical design and digital storytelling.
