Senior Biostatistician Job Description

As a senior biostatistician, you will lead collaborations with clinical investigators to determine study design and contribute to protocol development. You will author statistical analysis plans, perform statistical analysis, make statistical inferences, and write and present reports summarizing findings.

• Supervise biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers to direct their work on clinical research studies.
• Provide expert consultation to projects across the company on statistical methodology.
• Solve problems of complex statistical scope.
• Review and provide technical input on proposed statistical designs for research studies.
• Lead biostatisticians on one or more study projects.
• Participate in statistical process development and improvement.
• Present at conferences to share knowledge and expertise.
• Contribute to strategic planning and scientific decision-making.
• Develop and implement effective solutions to improve study data quality.
