Job description

Lead a team of mainframe developers and support engineers in delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring system stability.

Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other legacy technologies.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Oversee and review code, ensuring adherence to development standards, performance optimization, and proper documentation.

Manage incident resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term fixes for production issues in a timely manner.

Plan and coordinate system upgrades, migrations, and integration of mainframe systems with modern platforms when required.

Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and best practices in mainframe development and operations.

Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance feedback to junior developers and team members.

Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful delivery.

Stay informed about the latest trends and tools in mainframe modernization and recommend improvements to existing systems
