Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Career Counselor based in Varanasi, India. The Career Counselor will guide students in exploring suitable career options, provide support in identifying their skills and goals, and help them make informed decisions. The role involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, delivering informative workshops, and developing plans to assist students in achieving their academic and professional objectives. Additionally, the Career Counselor will collaborate with educators, parents, and institutions to ensure a cohesive approach to career development for students.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management

Hands-on experience in Student Counseling and guiding individuals through academic and professional decisions

Strong Communication skills to convey ideas effectively and build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues

Knowledge of career pathways, education systems, and up-to-date labor market trends

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field

Empathy, patience, and the ability to motivate and inspire students

Prior experience in career counseling or similar roles is highly desirable
