Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 8+ years of specialized experience in S / 4HANA to join a high-impact, remote Greenfield Implementation project in the S / 4HANA Private Cloud (PCE) environment. This role is focused on driving clean-core development and modernization, requiring deep proficiency in ABAP Cloud principles, SAP Fiori elements, CDS (Core Data Services), and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). The developer will be instrumental in building upgrade-safe, scalable extensions that preserve the platform's agility.

Key Responsibilities :

Clean-Core Development and Architecture :

• Execute ABAP Cloud-compliant coding practices, strictly utilizing only released APIs and whitelisted objects to ensure upgrade safety and stability.
• Design and implement complex data models using CDS views with annotations, exposing data via OData services.
• Develop business objects using the RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model), including implementations for draft functionality, advanced validations, and EML (Entity Manipulation Language).
• Build modern user interfaces using Fiori elements UIs, driven by metadata-driven annotations and relevant enhancement logic.

Modernization and Performance Optimization :

Quality, Lifecycle Management, and Integration :

Qualifications :

Experience : Mandatory 8+ years of dedicated ABAP development experience, with significant exposure to S / 4HANA.

Modern ABAP Stack (Mandatory) : Strong, hands-on expertise in CDS, RAP, OData service development, BAdIs, SQL on HANA, and advanced performance tuning techniques.

Architecture : In-depth understanding of clean-core development and ABAP Cloud principles.

Tools : Proficiency with ADT (ABAP Development Tools) in Eclipse and familiarity with quality and lifecycle management tools (ATC, SAT / ST12, CTS+).
