Role Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Human Resources functions of The Chennai Silks Corporate Office in Tirupur. She will play a key role in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training & development, and ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process for corporate office and key positions.
- Partner with department heads to understand manpower needs and ensure timely hiring.
- Build talent pipelines for future requirements.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Plan and execute employee engagement activities.3. HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain employee records, HRMS, and payroll inputs.Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).Implement and update HR policies in alignment with corporate standards.4. Performance Management
Drive appraisal cycles, feedback sessions, and goal-setting processes.Work with managers to address performance improvement plans.Recognize and reward high-performing employees.5. Learning & Development
Identify training needs and design training calendars.Coordinate with external trainers / consultants as required.Track training effectiveness and employee skill growth.Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HR functions and labor laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Problem-solving and conflict management abilities.Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.Qualifications
MBA / Master's in Human Resource Management (preferred).Minimum 5 years of proven HR management experience.Experience in corporate HR functions, preferably in retail, textiles, or apparel industry.Skills Required
