What You'll Do – Key Responsibilities :
Patient Registration & Documentation
- Coordinate the registration of new patients at the front desk.
- Collect and verify all required demographic details (e.g., name, address, contact number, source of visit).
- Prepare patient files, OPD cards, and generate a UHID (Unique Hospital Identification Number) .
Patient Assistance & Coordination
Guide and direct patients through the registration, consultation, diagnostic, and billing processes.Assist patients in locating departments, doctors, and service areas within the hospital.Answer patient queries regarding doctor availability, consultation schedules, and hospital services.Administrative & Front Desk Support
Coordinate with doctors, consultants, and departments to ensure seamless patient flow.Handle patient admissions and billing processes in the absence of the assigned staff.Maintain smooth front office operations during shift changes or staff absences.Customer Service & Complaint Handling
Attend to visitors and address queries or concerns with empathy and professionalism.Prioritize emergency cases and coordinate promptly with consultants and concerned departments.Ensure a welcoming and respectful environment for all patients and visitors.Confidentiality & Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date departmental records and documentation.Handle all communication and information regarding patients, staff, and the hospital with strict confidentiality.Quality & Compliance
Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities as directed.Support and engage in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.Other Duties
Perform any other responsibilities or tasks as assigned from time to time based on operational needs or emergencies.Skills Required
