Peoplesoft FSCM Developer

Role : Software Engineer II ( Peoplesoft FSCM developer)

Location : Hyderabad

Application developer working in a team that delivers leading edge innovations to our business by providing high quality design and high-performance code. Will use, evaluate, and learn exciting new technologies that keep our products and teams on the cutting edge. Primary responsibilities include delivering software solutions for our financial and supply chain business partners. Individuals will complete work in PeopleSoft FSCM applications and other Financial and Supply Chain applications. Other responsibilities include supporting our Cloud first strategy and supporting our Cloud OPS, DevSecOps and AI directions.

Develop key product features and complex software solutions within existing large-scale enterprise applications and new strategic initiatives using preferred languages.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners (QA, Business Analyst, Tech Pubs, etc.) in an SDLC team environment.

Assist with the generation and analysis of business and functional requirements for proposed software solutions.

Participate in architectural and database design discussions as they relate to product direction.

Create design specifications, documentation, and unit testing plans as defined by the SDLC development process.

Complete development tasks independently as well as under direction from the product architect and development leads.

Maintain and support software solutions post-production.

Develop features completely including the front-end components and the backend systems.

Work closely with other engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.

Primary application scope is Peoplesoft FSCM

Secondary application scope includes other Financial and supply Chain applications.

Continuous development to learn new skillsets in Cloud, DevSecOps and AI that will help increase growth in the individual, our team and business partners.

Required Work Experience :

3+ years of functional and technical experience with Peoplesoft FSCM applications.

Preferred Work Experience :

5+ years of functional and technical experience with Peoplesoft FSCM.1+ year of experience working with Cloud OPS and DevSecOps.

Technical / Job Specific Knowledge : Intermediate level functional knowledge of any / all Peoplesoft FSCM applications that include Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Project Costing, General Ledger, Maintenance Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management.

Proficient technical experience developing solutions in PeopleSoft FSCM systems.

Skills Required :

Develop Restful and SOAP based web Services. This also requires a functional knowledge of Integration Broker.

Develop Application Packages.

Develop and modify Application Engine programs.

Good knowledge writing Peoplecode.

Develop online components and pages.

Create and modify SQR programs.

Write and tune SQL in Oracle 12c and higher database versions.

Create PS Queries.

Develop and modify Unix and Windows based scripts.

Skills Preferred :

Peoplesoft Enterprise Components, Workflow, Data Archiving and Security Administration.

Experience programming Oracle database objects, Triggers, Functions, Procedures and Packages.

Experience working with SQL Server databases is a plus.

DevSecOps training and experience.
