The M365 Specialist – Secure Score Uplift is responsible for proactively improving the Microsoft Secure Score across client tenants by implementing best practices, security baselines, and configuration enhancements within Microsoft 365 environments. The role will focus on identifying, planning, and executing proactive uplift activities that strengthen the security posture of our clients’ Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring alignment with industry standards, compliance obligations, and customer expectations.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Review Microsoft Secure Score across all client tenants using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Lighthouse
- Identify and prioritise security improvements based on risk, compliance, and business impact
- Implement technical security controls across Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID / Azure AD, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams, account managers, and clients to schedule and deliver uplift activities
- Document all security changes, including before / after states and risk mitigation steps
- Clearly communicate proposed changes and provide guidance to clients where needed
- Align with Cyber and Modern Workplace teams to share strategies and outcomes
- Report on Secure Score trends and security posture improvements across clients
- Follow internal change management and client approval processes
- Contribute to the development of M365 security baselines and reusable templates
- Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 roadmap changes and incorporate them into security activities

3+ years' experience in Microsoft 365 administration and securityStrong knowledge of M365 workloads : Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID / Azure AD, Defender for 365Hands-on experience working with and interpreting Microsoft Secure ScoreAbility to implement secure configuration best practices across M365Solid understanding of identity management, MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, compliance, and threat protectionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 licensing and featuresPowerShell experience for M365 administration (desirable)Relevant certifications (MS-500, SC-300, SC-200) highly regardedStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsBenefits
