Job Description

• Supervise execution of mechanical works including HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Water Supply, Sewage / Drainage, and associated utilities.
• Review and approve method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with technical specifications, IS codes, NBC and other relevant standards.
• Verify contractors' measurements, certify mechanical works progress, and support billing / measurement verification with the QS / Construction Manager.
• Monitor contractor's work progress versus schedule, highlighting risks / delays to Construction Manager / Team Leader.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE practices during mechanical works execution.
• Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Attend site coordination meetings and provide technical clarifications.
• Prepare daily / weekly / monthly progress reports, quality reports, and documentation for the PMC and Client.
• Support the team in claims assessment, change management, and dispute resolution related to mechanical works.

Qualifications

B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in urban infrastructure / riverfront development / roads / bridges / water supply / large civil works projects.
