Production Shop Floor Controller / Leader | Afternoon Shift | $80-85k package

Job descriptionIn conjunction with the Supervisor and Manager, manage all aspects of production on shop floor, utilising people, equipment and materials to meet or exceed the production plan as efficiently as possible, with minimal wastage of resources Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner Be actively involved in the development of staff to create a cohesive and highly skilled team through effective training, mentoring, coaching and communication Take responsibility for yours and the team's safety and ensure that all products adhere to required quality standards Follow all SOP’s and OH&S regulations Maintain a clean and organised area and contribute suggestions for improvement Experience in leading a team Be a quick learner and have the ability to multitask Proven track record with leading safety and continuous improvement initiatives Possess high attention to detail Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships right across the business Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles and OH&S requirements

The role :
Our client is seeking a proactive, adaptable and hands-on Production Shop Floor Controller / Leader to join their team on Afternoon Shift. This is a great opportunity to join a growing Pharmaceutical company and start / develop your career in leadership. Reporting to the Production Supervisor and Manufacturing Manager, your role is to take responsibility for all aspects of the shift so that people, materials, time and equipment are used effectively and to quality standard to ensure that you achieve maximum efficiencies and results.
