Business Intelligence Developer

Seeking a MSBI Developer with strong expertise in database technologies to design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will possess advanced MSBI skills along with hands-on experience in database design, development, and optimization. This role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data integrity, and creating impactful dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Requirements :

• Power BI Expertise :
• Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language).
• Expertise in creating custom visuals, slicers, and drill-through reports.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms like Azure Data Factory or AWS.
• Ability to work with APIs and other third-party tools for data integration.
• Database Knowledge :
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
• Experience with indexing, query tuning, and database optimization techniques.
• ETL and Data Integration :
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatics).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for data storage and processing.
• Ability to work with APIs, JSON, and flat files for data extraction.
• Other Tools & Technologies :
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Data bricks, or other big data platforms.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (optional but preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA (preferred).
