Position Overview

Structural Designer conducts Structure design and drafting under Principal / Lead Engineer or Principal / Lead Designer supervision mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO / FLNG or Offshore facilities.

Structural Designer will have a strong background in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, be an expert in Topsides Structure Details (like connection details, weld details, Tertiary standards, etc.) and Hands-on experience in 3D modelling tools like AVEVA / E3D / PDMS and 2D AutoCAD.

The strategic focus will also include providing support to Hanwha Ocean engineering teams based in USA / Netherland / Singapore / Korea and elsewhere as necessary including Conceptual, pre-FEED and FEED for projects in the offshore area in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Under Head of Discipline, Principal / Lead Structure Engineer or Principal / Lead Designer&aposs supervision.

• Prepare structure drawings, detailing & 3D modelling.
• Thorough understanding of connection details
• Develop Structure Design Database in Engineering Management Platform.
• Participation in 30%, 60%, 90% model review and comment closure.
• Review Vendor Documents – related to structure details required for development of drawings.
• Ensure As-Built Structural drawings & 3D model.
