Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Placement Head to lead the Training & Placement Cell across all HGPI institutions.

The role involves building strategic industry relationships , driving placement initiatives , and ensuring students’ career readiness through internships, training programs, and campus recruitment drives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an institution-wide placement and internship strategy.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with top recruiters, HR heads, and corporate leaders.
  • Plan and execute campus placement drives, job fairs, and skill development programs.
  • Collaborate with department heads and faculty mentors to prepare students for interviews.
  • Conduct aptitude, soft skills, and mock interview sessions in partnership with training agencies.
  • Track placement performance and prepare periodic reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Engage with alumni and industry associations to create sustainable placement networks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s degree in Management, HR, or Education (preferred).
  • 5–8 years of proven experience in placements, training, or corporate relations (preferably in higher education).
  • Strong network of corporate and industry contacts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Excel, and CRM / ERP tools .
  • Ability to manage multi-institutional coordination and meet defined placement targets.
