Superintendent - Marine

Roles Responsibilities

The Marine superintendent is accountable for the following :

1) Compliance with company SMS procedures, forms, and checklists.

2) Compliance with IMO, Flag, and port state regulations.

3) MACN policy compliance.

4) Security related compliance.

5) Contingency assistance to the vessels at any time.

6) Ensure favourable results from PSC, Rightship, Flag, Class, PI, third party inspections and audits.

7) Incident investigation, Root cause analysis and report making.

8) Extending hand to CMS for the compliance of Incident Investigations and RCA.

9) Carrying out and arranging of ISM / ISPS / MLC audits.

10) Ensuring that the vessels are technically managed keeping within the barriers of our SMS.

11) Ensure that the KPIs declared for the fleet are maintained.

12) Continual Improvement to be determined, monitored, and accomplished.

13) Any amendments needed in the SMS to be informed to the management.

14) Ensure to be a helping hand to the company and its team and a person to be looked upon.
