Job description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment and configuration of SmartVista products for our clients.

This role requires strong technical expertise in payment systems and software installation, along with excellent customer communication skills to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support.

Responsibilities :

  • Install SmartVista software solutions at client sites, tailoring configurations to meet specific customer needs
  • Guide customers through software maintenance and update procedures to ensure optimal system performance
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document installation processes and product features clearly and comprehensively
  • Participate in testing cycles for new software releases and updates, providing feedback for improvements
  • Offer remote and on-site troubleshooting support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently
  • Analyze problem sources, identify bugs, and coordinate with development teams to expedite resolutions
  • Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support business goals

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in SQL / PLSQL and confident use of Unix / Linux operating systems
  • Strong background in the payments industry, including familiarity with payment and card processing software
  • Self-driven, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction
  • Positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Basic knowledge of Java technologies and ability to read C language code
  • Experience with Oracle database administration
  • Understanding of e-payment frameworks and card payment systems

    • Experience & Education :

  • At least 5 years of experience in software implementation, support, or development, preferably within banking or financial services
  • Practical experience in payment processing or card transaction environments
  • Bachelors degree required, with technical coursework in Oracle, Unix, or related fields considered an advantage
