Responsibilities :
- 2-6 years of experience editing video content, preferably for all Social Media channels
- Edit engaging long-form video content for social media channels and short-form vertical videos (Reels, Stories, Shorts) for Instagram.
- Cut, color correct, add transitions, motion graphics, and sound design to enhance storytelling and viewer retention.
- Optimize videos for pacing, clarity, and engagement, especially the first 10–30 seconds (strong hooks).
- Adapt content between platforms (e.g., repurpose long YouTube videos into vertical clips for Instagram).
- Collaborate with scriptwriters and on-camera talent to align video flow with messaging and goals.
- Stay updated with platform trends, editing styles, and algorithmic behaviors to keep content fresh and competitive.
- Manage and organize raw footage, assets, and project files systematically.
Requirements :
Proven experience editing videos for social media channels (portfolio or channel links required).Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.Deep understanding of social media content formats, timing, aspect ratios, and audience expectations.Ability to add engaging elements such as dynamic captions, sound effects, music, zooms / punch-ins, and graphics.Strong storytelling sense with an eye for detail and pacing.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bonus Skills :
Motion graphics or animation skills.Experience in color grading and audio mastering.Ability to suggest improvements to scripts and visuals.To Apply :
