What You'll Do

Talent Sourcers play a critical role in achieving our growth & hiring objectives for BCG's Consulting business. Reporting to the APAC Director of Executive Search & Talent Sourcing, this role partners with Recruiting & Consulting stakeholders (including Managing Directors / Partners) across our Tech / Digital businesses (BCG Platinion & BCG X) in APAC to identify and secure best-in-class talent across lateral and executive search.

Sourcers learn through practical experience and top-tier coaching & mentorship.

Our Talent Sourcers drive the search process - from developing and executing search strategies to interviewing, assessing and building a pipeline of qualified candidates for active roles.

Talent Sourcers deeply immerse themselves in industry, role and functional research, acting as the 'eyes' and 'ears' in the market to provide strategic insights and serve as trusted thought partners.

Role Responsibilities

Talent Research

Create a focused search strategy vis vis the hiring requirement and drive its execution, continuously fine-tuning the approach via leveraging of market knowledge. Act as trusted advisor, solutioning on talent pools / strategies to successfully close searches
Conduct industry and function-specific research, mapping the talent landscape to bring market intelligence to the table

Candidate & Stakeholder Engagement

Reach out to prospective candidates to pitch / elicit interest in opportunities, gather referrals and collect market intelligence and feedback

Assist in conducting in-depth interviews, evaluating candidates against role requirements

Build strong candidate relationships. Considering the scarcity of certain niche talent pools, consistently plan and implement effective outreach strategies to nurture relationships and engagement with prospective candidates

Collaborate internationally, across BCG as part of a global sourcing community, bringing creative ideas together and providing strategic input

What You'll Bring

A minimum of 3 years' transferable experience, ideally in Tech-led Start-ups (Consumer Tech, Fintech etc.) / Software companies or alternately, Recruitment firms with a strong background in Tech hiring

An undergraduate degree is required, with a Masters' degree being an added advantage

Exhibits skill and growing proficiency in articulating ideas and information clearly, with confidence and impact

Ability to collaborate with internal clients and candidates, with a developing understanding of influencing techniques to build positive relationships.
