Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA). This role involves maintaining, optimizing, and scaling database systems across relational and non-relational environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture, data integrity, and high-availability solutions.

Core Database Expertise :

Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration and tuning.

Proficiency in managing either MSSQL or one or more NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB).

Deep understanding of database design principles, normalization, and query optimization.

Tools and Technologies :

Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., pgAdmin, SolarWinds DPA, or NoSQL-specific tools).

Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner).

Technical Skills :

Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

Experience with database migration tools and techniques.
