We’re looking for a Deliverability Operations Engineer — a hands-on executor who can manage email authentication, inbox placement tests, and overall deliverability performance across multiple domains and clients.
What You’ll Do
- Configure and monitor SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI , and DNS alignment for all sending domains.
- Run inbox placement tests (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Apple Mail) and track daily results.
- Validate contact lists via APIs such as ZeroBounce or NeverBounce before any send.
- Analyze email templates for spam-trigger language and HTML or header issues.
- Manage domain warm-ups , IP reputation, and Gmail Postmaster monitoring.
- Investigate and fix any sudden drop in deliverability or rise in bounce / complaint rates.
- Maintain deliverability dashboards (ClickHouse / Jitsu) showing key metrics by client and domain.
- Train SDR and campaign teams on “pre-send” deliverability best practices.
What We’re Looking For
2-4 years in email marketing operations, postmaster, and email engineeringStrong grasp of DNS , SPF / DKIM / DMARC , IP reputation, and sender authentication.Experience with ESPs like AWS SES , SendGrid , Mailgun , or Postmark .Familiar with tools such as GlockApps , MXToolbox , Mailreach , and Google Postmaster Tools .Analytical mindset — can interpret data trends and recommend fixes fast.Process-driven and organized : checklists, documentation, and repeatable systems.(Nice-to-have) Basic SQL or Python for reporting automation; exposure to ClickHouse or Supabase .Why Join graph8
