Peoplesoft Technical Consultant-Finance

We are looking for an experienced

PeopleSoft Technical Consultant

specializing in the

Finance module . The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in

SQL, PeopleQuery, Finance tables / records , and

data conversion . You will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions, performing data migration and conversion activities, and supporting financial reporting and integration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and enhance

PeopleSoft Finance applications

to meet business and compliance needs.

Design and execute

data conversion strategies

(extraction, transformation, and loading) for Finance modules.

Create and optimize

SQL queries, PeopleQuery reports, and SQRs

for Finance data validation and reporting.

Work extensively with

Finance module tables and records

(e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Purchasing, Expenses).

Develop technical components such as

Application Engine programs, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker services, and BI Publisher reports .

Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Support

system integration and interface development

between PeopleSoft and external systems.

Conduct

unit testing, data reconciliation, and defect resolution

during conversions and upgrades.

Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Finance applications.

Prepare and maintain

technical documentation

and follow best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.

5+ years of technical experience

with PeopleSoft Finance modules.

Strong expertise in

SQL

and

PeopleQuery .

In-depth knowledge of

Finance tables and records

across GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, and Expenses.

Proven hands-on experience in

data conversion and migration

(ETL, data mapping, transformation).

Proficiency in

PeopleTools

(Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, Component Interface, Integration Broker, BI Publisher).

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
