Job description

Title : Resident Engineer (RE)

Location : Mumbai (Navi Mumbai) - Onsite

Shift : Rotational

Employment Type : Full-time

Education & Certifications :

Required : BE / B.Tech / MCA

Preferred : Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CWNA

Experience & Domain Expertise :

Minimum 3 years of TAC (Technical Assistance Center) experience in the networking domain
Hands-on experience with Arista equipment is a strong advantage
Familiarity with Spine-Leaf Architecture (L2LS / L3LS), MLAG, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols

Key Technical Skills :

Packet-level troubleshooting and deep diagnostic skills

Technical support for hardware / software issues

Network operations including audits, configuration reviews, and lifecycle management

Automation using Arista APIs

Documentation updates for HLD / LLD and network diagrams

UAT and hardening of newly deployed switches

Upgrade management - OS patches, vulnerability fixes

Monitoring & reporting - Daily / Weekly / Monthly reports

Shift-based work in a data center environment

Coordination with Arista TAC and internal teams

Soft Skills :

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration

Proven ability to deliver tasks on time with high quality
