About the Role :

Position Title : Administrator

Location : Mumbai / Bangalore

Job Profile : Purpose of Role :

Responsible for supporting the business team in execution of functions related transaction processing, timely response to queries raised, record maintenance, reconciliation, follow internal and regulatory procedures and liaise with other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of transactions.

Main Responsibilities :

Process :

  • Perform the duties of Maker for the activities assigned diligently.
  • Understand the process / policies of the bank and adhere to the needs.
  • Work closely with the overseas branch to process / execute the transactions as per accuracy / quality standards / SLAs of the bank.
  • Learn the system functions and adhere to the controls.
  • Support overseas branch to resolve operational incidents / reporting (if any)
  • Provide suggestion(s) to improve / streamline the operational process.
  • Demonstrate and achieve a high level of accuracy and proficiency in handling customer transactions and co-ordinate with all relevant departments to ensure timely settlement of transactions.

Customer :

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG.
  • Support and resolve customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines,
  • MUFG’s standard procedures and local regulations and assess the impact on the daily operations workflow.
  • Work in partnership with wider operations teams without compromise in Compliance and procedure towards supporting customer requests for processing in a timely manner.
  • Work in partnership with external counterparts to share information in order to resolve any enquiries.
  • To support developmental projects relating to the department.

  • Support the Department Head in ensuring a high level of customer service is adopted by all members of the team and escalate any unresolved items immediately.
  • Ensure that all transactions under their own area of responsibility are processed, confirmed and settled on a timely and accurate basis, in accordance to set procedures.
  • Review that periodic KYC checks have been performed and escalated appropriately
  • Proactively involve in alert resolution
  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.
  • Provide support to the team by assisting in day to day working of the Department
  • Assist customers in resolving queries pertaining to their account.
  • Timely submission of Statutory, internal and MIS reports
  • Escalate any unresolved complex enquiries to more experienced members of the team.
  • Complete administration activities including but not limited to filing / storage of documentation and data entry
  • Candidate Profile :

  • Skills & Knowledge : Minimum 1-3 years of experience
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office).
  • Sound knowledge of the deposit operation.
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others.
  • Good understanding of basic banking products.
  • Exposure to clearing & payment processing(Both Inward & Outward)
  • Understanding of local relevant regulations.
